i recently came across the MMP version "Warriors of Japan". I believe the English rule translation is inaccurate.
can someone explain the:
a. Neutral samurai setup
b. How to determine wo controls the region
c. Can I recruit samurai into a region i do not control
d. Samurai loss table

> Thank you for your post, old timer. I’m currently consulting with an expert, so please wait a little while. However, I recall that there were significant discrepancies between the MMP version and the original rules. There appears to be a mix of mistranslations and intentional modifications, which makes things quite confusing.

When I reviewed the English rules in the MMP edition, I found that the latter part of “8 Phase 4: Determine Control of Regions” was completely missing. This is the part that explains how a samurai controls a region if it is their home province. Unfortunately, this missing section is not covered by any errata either.

a: See 11 "setting up the game" (c)

b: If at least one general on the region, whose rigion is match to the region, the player set to or maintain the control of the region, otherwise none has the control; whose region is "all", the general matches to any region.

c: NO for soldiers but for Samurai

d: when a general is removed from the map in a combat, roll dies for each such general. Then obey to the result on the table
